The client Interaction Technical has partnered with a well‑established, growing Material Handling firm to help recruit an experienced Mobile forklift repair engineer. The company supplies handling and access solutions across the UK.
The package:
- 24 days annual leave plus public holidays (32 days overall)
- Door to Door Paid
- Full training and development in electrical & mechanical repairs, fault finding and diagnostics
- Opportunity to develop long‑term within the company (leadership & management)

The duties:
- Diagnose faults accurately, service and carry out emergency repairs and breakdowns on plant and forklift machinery
- Collaborate with customers on plant, lifting and handling products
- Work independently at customer sites while collaborating with colleagues to ensure documentation and the perfect solution is offered
- Actively travel to sites and carry out repairs, creating solutions
- Work on engines, batteries, pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs
The requirements:
- Previous experience in the plant or forklift industry (essential)
- Experience with hydraulics, mechanical and electrical work (essential)
- Experience with engines and batteries (essential)
- Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
- Relevant qualifications NVQ or City & Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
- Full UK driver’s licence
