Are you an experienced Upholsterer looking for a new opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position?

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Upholsterer to join a growing manufacturing team in the Barnstaple area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has excellent attention to detail and enjoys working in a hands‑on production environment.

With an early finish every Fridayand the opportunity to move into a permanent position, this role offers excellent long-term prospects.

Working Hours

• Monday – Thursday: 6:30am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 6:30am – 12:30pm
• Flexible shift options may be available

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out upholstery and assembly work.
• Cutting, measuring and fitting a variety of materials.
• Using hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Producing high-quality work to a consistently high standard.
• Working towards daily production targets.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace.
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive production team.

What We're Looking For

• Previous upholstery experience is required.
• Good knowledge of upholstery techniques and materials.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
• Someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys a hands‑on role.
