About the Role: My client is a well-established recycling company currently looking for reliable and hardworking Yard Operatives to join their team. This is a hands-on role working within a busy recycling facility. You will be responsible for sorting recyclable materials, maintaining a safe working environment, and supporting the smooth running of daily yard operations. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working in an outdoor industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and separate recyclable materials on the picking line.
- Identify and remove non-recyclable materials.
- Maintain a clean and organised working area.
- Assist with general yard duties as required.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Work safely around machinery and site vehicles.
- Support the team to ensure efficient daily operations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in recycling, waste management, warehouse, manufacturing, or yard environments is desirable but not essential.
- Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual work.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
