Brake Press Setter Operator
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Brake Press Setter Operator to join our client's busy manufacturing team.
The Role
As a Brake Press Setter Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC brake press machinery to produce high-quality components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC brake press machines
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Selecting and changing tooling as required
- Programming machines and adjusting settings
- Checking dimensions and quality of finished components
- Working with sheet metal and various materials
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
- Working safely and following company procedures
- Meeting production targets while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Brake Press Setter/Operator
- Experience setting CNC brake press machinery
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Good understanding of measurements and tolerances
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication
- Good attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant manufacturing/engineering experience
