We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work based in the Aylesford area (ME20). This is an excellent opportunity to secure long‑term work with shifts currently scheduled through to September, with the potential for continued work into the peak Christmas period and beyond.
Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 05:00am – 1:00pm
Full‑day paid induction required prior to starting.
The Role:
- Multi‑drop deliveries to schools, hospitals, hotels, restaurants and other commercial customers
- Typically 12–17 deliveries per day
- Delivering frozen, chilled and ambient food products
- Manual loading and unloading involved
- Drivers will be required to locate and unload products from the vehicle at each delivery point
- No pallet truck or tail lift work involved
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Reliable and professional attitude
