The Role

As a Refrigeration Engineer, you'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a network of supermarket sites within your allocated area.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
  • Diagnosing and repairing refrigeration system faults
  • Working on commercial CO₂ refrigeration pack systems
  • Completing service visits and breakdown repairs efficiently
  • Conducting minor refrigeration installations and modifications
  • Ensuring all work is completed to industry and compliance standards
  • Maintaining accurate service reports and documentation

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
  • F-Gas Category 1 Certification
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Commercial refrigeration service and maintenance experience

Desirable

  • Supermarket or retail refrigeration experience
  • CO₂ refrigeration experience
  • Hydrocarbon refrigerant experience
  • IPAF 3a & 3b certification
  • Electrical fault-finding skills
  • 18th Edition qualification

Additional training can be provided where required.
