Site Operations Supervisor to join our logistics team in Accrington on a permanent basis.

The Role
As a
Site Operations Supervisor , you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the site.
You will support the management team, supervise operational activities and help ensure that service and performance standards are consistently maintained.
Your responsibilities will include
- Supervising the day-to-day logistics operation.
- Supporting and coordinating operational staff to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Managing workloads and prioritising tasks to meet operational requirements.
- Ensuring company procedures, policies and health & safety standards are followed.
- Monitoring operational performance and addressing issues as they arise.
- Supporting the planning and coordination of deliveries, collections and site activities.
- Ensuring accurate completion of relevant paperwork and operational records.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, drivers, customers and management.
- Supporting the training and development of team members.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety and site organisation.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and operational performance.
- Escalating any significant operational, safety or staffing issues to management.

- Previous supervisory experience within a logistics, transport, warehouse or operational environment .
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
