We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Shunter Drivers to join our client in Bridgwater. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for stable and full-time hours with competitive pay.

Shift Pattern: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay Rate: £16.25 – £17.77 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely manoeuvring vehicles within the yard
  • Coupling and uncoupling trailers
  • Ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly for loading and dispatch
  • Conducting routine vehicle checks and reporting any defects
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (CE) HGV Licence
  • Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
  • Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card
  • Good awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
