The Role:
We are currently recruiting reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers to work with our client based in Bridgwater (Langdons). This role involves nationwide deliveries with regular night outs, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy long-distance work and being on the road. This is a flexible opportunity offering both ongoing and ad hoc shifts, with early morning starts and a steady shift pattern for those looking for consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out nationwide deliveries and collections
- Complete early morning starts as scheduled
- Ensure safe and timely transportation of goods
- Load and unload stock when required
- Complete all delivery paperwork accurately
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
- Adhere to all driver hours and tachograph regulations
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous tramping experience preferred
- Good geographical knowledge
- Strong communication skills and work ethic
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
