As a Production Line Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

You'll be responsible for coordinating a production line, supporting and motivating your team, and helping to deliver products on time while maintaining excellent food safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example, working alongside your team while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the line.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Leading the day-to-day operation of a designated production line.
  • Coordinating operators and packers to achieve daily production targets.
  • Ensuring production starts on time and runs efficiently throughout the shift.
  • Monitoring line performance and resolving operational issues quickly.
  • Leading product changeovers to minimise downtime.
  • Carrying out basic machine adjustments where required.
  • Performing and overseeing in-process quality checks.
  • Ensuring food safety, hygiene, GMP, HACCP, and health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Completing production documentation accurately and maintaining full traceability.
  • Delivering shift briefings and allocating work across the team.
  • Training and supporting new team members.
  • Escalating quality, engineering, or production issues where appropriate.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is confident leading a team while remaining hands-on within production. You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, food production, nutrition, or FMCG environment.
  • Experience coordinating people or leading production activities.
  • A good understanding of production processes and line operations.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, GMP, HACCP, and health & safety requirements.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and solve problems under pressure.
  • Experience completing production records and documentation accurately.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to support the team wherever needed.
Desirable:
  • Previous experience as a Line Leader, Team Leader, Senior Operator, or similar.
  • Experience leading production changeovers.
  • Basic machine troubleshooting and adjustment skills.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What We Offer:
  • Salary up to £28,200 per annum.
  • Monday to Friday working.
  • Early finish every Friday.
  • Full training and ongoing development opportunities.
  • Opportunity to progress within a growing manufacturing business.
  • Supportive team environment.
  • Stable, permanent employment.

If you're a hands-on leader who enjoys motivating others, solving problems, and driving production performance, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and take the next step in your manufacturing career.
