Warehouse Operative required. We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join our client, working on-site with our client based on the outskirts of Wellington.

Location: Wellington

Hours: 42.5 per week

Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 17:00
Friday: 08:00 – 15:00

Pay rate: £12.71 - £13

Overview: The finishing operative is responsible for ensuring all products are completed to a high standard before dispatch. This role suits someone with strong attention to detail, practical skills and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out finishing tasks such as sanding, trimming, polishing, cleaning or surface preparation.
  • Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools and finishing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Work to production schedules and meet daily output targets.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
  • Complete required documentation such as quality checks and production logs.
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a finishing, production or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
  • Good hand–eye coordination and confidence using tools and equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team.
  • Transport required due to location and working hours.
