We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing site on the outskirts of Wellington. This is a physically active, hands-on role involving loading materials into bags, operating machinery and supporting the production process. The work is carried out in a covered outdoor environment, providing shelter while working in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading materials into bags accurately and efficiently
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Moving and handling materials safely
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting production targets and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse or labouring experience is beneficial
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own transport is essential due to the location of the site
