We are looking for
HGV Class 1 Container Drivers for an exciting new opportunity on behalf of our client based in
Southampton, SO40 !
- Salary
- HGV Class 1 Container Driver (Days) -
- HGV Class 1 Container Driver (Nights)-
1.5x after 40 hours, 1.5x on weekends, 2x on Bank holidays.
All
PAYE ensures holiday is accrued on the side!
About the Role
This is an opportunity to work with an established container distribution client based near the ports in Southampton!
Your role as a Class 1 Driver would be transporting and collecting containers on a Trunk run basis!
This role involves no manual handling, but it is essential that loads are secured safely.
Start times vary as they are a 24/7 operation. This is typically a Monday to Friday assignment, however there can be the occasional weekend shifts.

Requirements
- UK HGV C+E (Class 1) Drivers License held for a minimum of 1+ years.
- In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

- Ability to deliver safely and in a timely manner.
- Induction/Assessment required prior to your first assignment.
- Container transport experience is preferred but not essential.
- About the Candidate
The ideal HGV C+E Driver needs to be flexible around days and start times, and have an in-depth knowledge of the WTD and Driver Regulations.
Drivers need to always be presentable and approachable when representing the company!
