The predicted salary is between 19.8 - 20.4 £ per hour.

This is a permanent role. We are recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient, and productive operation of a manufacturing department. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can motivate teams, drive performance, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 3 weeks on 18:00 - 06:00 & 1 week on 06:00 - 18:00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support production teams to achieve quality, delivery, and performance targets.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate production schedules and communicate priorities across shifts.
  • Monitor production performance, waste, scrap, and consumable costs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation.
  • Manage stock levels and production reporting.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and minimise machine downtime.
  • Develop team skills through training, coaching, and cross-functional development.
  • Monitor attendance, team performance, and employee engagement.

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience monitoring production KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of quality standards, audits, and health & safety.
  • Injection or compression moulding experience (desired but not essential).
  • Tool changing and machine setting experience (desired but not essential).
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Forklift licence (desired but not essential).
