We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and customer-focused HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy and well-established operation in Witney, Oxford. The role is offered on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis, providing a clear pathway into a permanent position.

The Role

As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods while acting as a key representative of the business. This is a safety-critical role where professionalism and reliability are essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering goods safely and on time across your designated area
  • Securing loads and carrying out daily vehicle checks
  • Completing all transport documentation accurately
  • Providing a friendly and professional service to customers

Working Hours

  • 42.5 hours per week
  • 7:00am start time
  • 9.5-hour working day (including 1-hour break)
  • Sociable hours supporting a strong work-life balance

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • CPC card and Digital Tachograph
  • Proven experience in multi-drop delivery
  • Strong focus on safety and customer service
  • Moffett certification (desirable but not essential)
  • Candidates without Moffett experience must be willing to undertake training, as full certification will be provided.
