Fantastic opportunity for a passionate Head Chef to join this luxury hotel in the Highlands, Scotland.
This stunning hotel has 14 bedrooms with incredible views over the surrounding countryside. Set in the Scottish Highlands, the hotel houses a rosette standard bistro offering exquisite food using the highest quality seasonal ingredients and produce. There is also a high standard Lounge menu serving exceptional food in a more casual setting. In addition, during the summer period, the hotel also has hog roasts, wild venison roasts etc in the grounds showcasing the finest Scottish ingredients.
What you\’ll be doing:
• Creating and evolving menus using local, seasonal ingredients
• Fully responsible for the running of the kitchen and service
• Leading and motivating the team as well as encouraging a passion for food and standard
• Involved in tastings for functions and weddings
Working hours 5/7, 45 hrs per week
We are looking for:
• an experienced Head Chef with a proven career history
• experience cooking within a rosette kitchen (min 2AA rosette)
• creativity and flair with attention to detail and presentation
• genuine passionate about exceptional local food and ingredients
• ability to lead, manage and motivate a team as well as work as a team player
• a logical and practical manner
• ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm and reasonable
