Are you an experienced Injection Mould Setter looking for a stable night shift role with a long weekend every week?

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Injection Mould Setter to join a well‑established manufacturing business based in Yaxley, Peterborough.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team where you'll play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently, maintaining quality standards, and minimising downtime.

The Role

  • Setting, adjusting and maintaining injection moulding machines to achieve optimum performance.
  • Carrying out tool changes safely and efficiently.
  • Monitoring machine performance and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Reducing downtime and minimising scrap and rejects.
  • Calibrating masterbatch units in line with setting sheets and production requirements.
  • Ensuring products meet quality standards and cycle time targets.
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards.
  • Providing supervisory cover when required during holidays or absences.
  • Recording downtime, scrap and production information using the company's ERP system.

About You

  • Previous experience as an Injection Mould Setter within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of tool changes and machine setting.
  • Experience monitoring cycle times, machine performance and quality standards.
  • Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to reducing downtime and improving efficiency.
  • Basic computer skills and experience inputting production data.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures within manufacturing.
