About the Role
This is an evening kitchen support role working alongside another team member in a busy environment. The main responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Reheating and preparing food to a high standard.
- Serving food quickly and professionally.
- Operating the till and handling customer transactions.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
- Washing up throughout the shift.
- Cleaning and closing down the kitchen at the end of the evening.
- Keeping work areas organised, stocked, and ready for service.
- Working efficiently as part of a team while following food safety procedures.
The role is generally carried out by two people , which allows us to maintain good working practices, provide mutual support, and ensure staff safety during late-night shifts.
On rare occasions, due to unexpected staff absence, you may be required to work independently, so confidence, initiative, and reliability are important.
