Administration Assistant in Wishaw

ADMINISTRATOR - TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS

Wishaw, just outside Glasgow | Competitive Salary | Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for a reliable and organised Administrator to join our client's busy transport and logistics operation based in Wishaw, just outside Glasgow.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting the day-to-day running of a transport depot.

Key Responsibilities

• Debriefing drivers on their return to the depot.

• Checking, collecting and processing driver paperwork.

• Managing delivery notes, PODs and other transport documentation.

• Handling vehicle keys, ensuring they are correctly issued, returned and recorded.

• Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records.

• Liaising with drivers and the transport team to resolve paperwork or delivery queries.

• Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

What We're Looking For

• Previous administration experience, ideally within transport, logistics or distribution.

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Confident communication skills when dealing with drivers and colleagues.

• Good IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.

• A reliable, proactive approach and the ability to work well in a busy environment.
