Warehouse Operative Required – IMMEDIATE START | Wellington
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 17:00
- Friday: 08:00 – 15:00
Starting Pay: £12.50 per hour
We’re looking for a dependable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our manufacturing team in Wellington for an immediate start. This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable with physical work and varied responsibilities in a fast-moving environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing stoves for daily despatch (requires moving units weighing 80kg+ using sack trucks and pallet trucks)
- Liaising with the sales office and maintaining stock of readily available parts
- Palletizing stoves and assigning paperwork for daily despatch
- Picking items from sales orders and packaging spare parts for parcel despatch, using the computer system to cross-reference
- Overseeing stock control of parts and consumables within the department
- Operating a table saw (training provided if necessary)
- Carrying out other general duties as required
Role involves a fair amount of reading and some writing; Quality Control experience is a plus. Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
