Location: Crewkerne, Somerset

Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour

Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00 | Friday 08:00-13:00

Contract: Full-time

The Role

Interaction Recruitment are currently looking for a reliable Labourer / Warehouse Operative to join a busy sheet-metal manufacturing company based in Crewkerne.

This is a hands-on role working within a manufacturing environment, supporting the production and warehouse teams with a variety of general duties.

Working Hours & Breaks

Monday - Thursday: 08:00-17:00

• 10:30-10:45 - 15-minute paid break
• 13:00-13:30 - 30-minute unpaid break

Friday: 08:00-13:00

• 10:30-10:45 - 15-minute paid break

Duties May Include

• General labouring duties within the manufacturing environment
• Supporting the warehouse and production teams
• Moving and handling materials
• Loading and unloading materials where required
• Preparing materials for production
• Assisting with the manufacture of sheet-metal products
• Keeping the warehouse and work areas clean and organised
• Following Health & Safety procedures
• Carrying out other general duties as required

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous warehouse, labouring or manufacturing experience is beneficial
• Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role
• Reliable and hardworking
• Good attention to detail
• Willing to learn new skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Good Health & Safety awareness
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
