Location: Brackmills Industrial Estate, Northampton

Pay: £12.71 - £13.39 per hour

Shift: Full time, Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm fixed shifts

Please note: To complete the required training, you may be asked to work 10:00am - 6:00pm for the first two weeks.

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting reliable, hardworking, and experienced Goods-In Operatives to join our valued client, J&J Global Fulfilment Centre, based on Brackmills Industrial Estate in Northampton.

The Role

As a Goods-In Operative, you will be working in a modern fulfilment centre and supporting the Goods-In department with the safe and accurate processing of incoming stock. Duties will include:

  • Loading and unloading incoming goods
  • Checking deliveries against paperwork and system information
  • Processing stock accurately using warehouse systems
  • Moving goods safely around the warehouse
  • Keeping the Goods-In area organised, safe, and tidy
  • Supporting general warehouse duties when required

This is a physically demanding role, as you will be required to lift and move items up to 20kg. Applicants should be physically fit, comfortable with manual handling, and confident working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be handling a wide range of products, including:

  • Wine
  • Cosmetics
  • Vapes
  • Books
  • Vitamins
  • And many more

Applicants must be comfortable working with all product types on site.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous Goods-In or warehouse experience
  • Good computer skills and confidence using warehouse systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately in a busy fulfilment environment
  • Physically fit and comfortable lifting items up to 20kg
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • MHE experience such as Flexi-Bendi, Counterbalance or Reach Truck would be advantageous but is not essential
