About the Role
Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Logistics Operative to join a well-established business based in Thriplow, Cambridgeshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous logistics, warehouse or goods-in/goods-out experience who enjoys working in a busy, hands-on environment.
Our client is looking for an organised and motivated individual who can support the smooth running of daily logistics operations.
Due to the rural location in Thriplow, candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have their own transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking and processing incoming deliveries.
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
- Organising stock and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Supporting the movement of goods and materials around the site.
- Preparing orders and ensuring deliveries are dispatched on time.
- Working closely with warehouse and production teams.
- Completing relevant paperwork and stock documentation.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
- Assisting with general logistics and warehouse duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing or a similar environment.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport essential.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Forklift experience would be advantageous.
