Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting Refuse Loaders to join our client's waste collection team based in Letchworth Garden City.
This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals looking for consistent weekday work with an early finish every day.
The Role
As a Refuse Loader, you'll work as part of a three-person crew, collecting household waste and recycling from residential properties across the local area.
You'll be responsible for ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while providing an essential service to the community.
This is a physically demanding role that involves regular walking, lifting and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect household waste and recycling from residential properties.
- Work safely and effectively as part of a three-man team.
- Load waste onto the refuse collection vehicle.
- Follow planned collection routes and schedules.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with members of the public.
- Assist the driver and crew to complete daily rounds efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- A good level of physical fitness.
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to start at 6:00am.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Previous experience in waste collection, labouring, warehouse or outdoor work is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
