I am looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to work for a busy Distribution company based in Leeds on the Night shift.
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager and Shift Manager, you will be providing support in the handling of all warehousing and distribution functions.
This role will be suitable for experienced Team Leaders looking for a role with good Career Progression and Promotion Prospects.
Day to day duties within the role will include
- Assist in all Warehouse areas inside and outside
- Maintain and improve performance levels within the Warehouse
- Staff training and disciplinaries
- Maintaining standards of Health and Safety within the workplace, in line with legislation
- Conducting new warehouse staff inductions
- Attending H&S meetings
Key skills needed for this role include
- Warehouse Team Leader experience is essential
- C/B FLT License is essential
- Flexi FLT License would be beneficial
- Must be hands on and willing to assist on the Shop Floor when required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate staff
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Computer Literate, particularly Microsoft office
- Health and Safety aware, and able to take responsibility for the welfare of others within the work environment
The role is based on the Night shift, working 6pm to 6am, 4 shifts per week.
Week 1 you will work Sun, Mon, Wed and Thurs and Week 2 is Tue, Wed, Fri and Sat.
These weeks will then rotate throughout the year.
The role is advertised as Permanent with a starting Salary for the role is £31,454 pa.
Having a flexible attitude towards your work, including shift working times to suit my client’s needs are a must.
