I am looking for an experienced Goods In Operative, with a C/B FLT License to work for a busy Distribution company based in Leeds on the Day Shift.

Reporting directly to the Stores Manager, you will assist in efficiently receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming deliveries, ensuring that all goods are accurately stored and documented on the system.

Day to day duties within the role will include

  • Unloading goods using either C/B FLT or by hand
  • Inspect deliveries for damage
  • Use purchase orders and delivery notes to check for any discrepancies
  • Accurately record all goods received into the Warehouse Management System
  • Organise and store materials in their proper locations
  • Adhere to all safety and storage standards
  • Regular Inventory and Stock Takes
  • General yard and warehouse duties

Key skills needed for this role include

  • Previous Goods In experience is essential
  • Must hold a valid C/B FLT License (not in house)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Must be computer literate, particularly Microsoft office
  • Good eye for detail
  • Knowledge of Manual Handling Techniques is essential as the role will involve heavy lifting
  • Health and Safety awareness

The role is based on the day shift, working 8.30am to 6pm from Monday to Friday. The starting Pay Rate for the role is £12.81p/hr and is advertised as a Temp to Perm position.
