WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER - £27,000-£30,000
Location: Huntingdon
Salary: £27,000-£30,000
Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating shifts: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy operation and lead a team of warehouse operatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise and support warehouse staff across goods in, picking, loading, recycling and dispatch.
- Coordinate material flow to and from production.
- Allocate daily workloads and ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality and stock control.
- Train, coach and motivate team members.
- Liaise with production and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
- Support continuous improvement and maintain a safe, organised warehouse.
About you:
- Previous warehouse experience, ideally at supervisory/team leader level.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good understanding of stock control and warehouse systems.
- Health & safety and manual handling knowledge.
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach) desirable.
- Reliable, proactive and hands-on, with the ability to work under pressure.
