Finance Manager - £50k to £55k
Location:Derby- Office-based with hybrid opportunities
About the Role
We're seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to join our growing Midlands team. You'll oversee financial operations, reporting, business support, and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and daily finance operations
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial performance
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and business planning
- Maintain accurate reconciliations, records, and controls
- Liaise with auditors, accountants, suppliers, and internal teams
- Improve financial processes and efficiency
- Provide financial analysis to support management decisions
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
About You
You'll have:
- Previous finance or accounting experience
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and reporting
- Strong Excel and financial systems experience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines
ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification (or part-qualified) is desirable.
