We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to work from the Asda Distribution Centre in Erith. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for ongoing work with competitive pay rates.
Pay Rates
- AM Shifts: £20.00 per hour
- PM Shifts: £23.00 per hour
- Days - start times between 06:00 - 08:00
- Nights start times between 18:00 - 21:00
The Role
- Delivering goods to Asda stores.
- Completing 2-4 store deliveries per shift.
- Deliveries are made using caged goods to store loading bays.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Carrying out all required vehicle checks and adhering to company procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's Class 1 (Category C+E) driving experience.
- Valid UK Class 1 Licence.
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Successful completion of a driving assessment before starting.
- A flexible approach to working 5 days out of 7, including some weekends.
