Business Development Manager - Print & Hybrid Mail Solutions

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (DOE)
Bonus: Uncapped commission - 5% of profit generated, paid monthly
Car Allowance or Company Car Available

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager within the print industry looking for your next challenge?

We are working with a leading Print and Post Expert specialising in Hybrid Mail services, who are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in the print sector who can confidently develop new business opportunities and build long-term client relationships.

Industry experience is essential for this role. We are looking for someone who understands the print market, has existing knowledge of print solutions, and can confidently engage with businesses to identify opportunities and secure new contracts.

About the Role

This is a new business-focused position where you will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and winning new clients across the UK. You will manage the full business development process, from prospecting and cold calling through to arranging meetings, presenting solutions, and closing deals.

You can be based anywhere in the UK; however, you will be required to commute to your closest North West office location once per week.

What You'll Do

  • Generate new business opportunities within the print and hybrid mail sector.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting, including cold calling and lead generation.
  • Book and attend your own sales appointments.
  • Identify customer needs and provide tailored print and hybrid mail solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue and profit targets.
  • Work independently while collaborating with the wider commercial team.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience working within the print industry is essential.
  • Previous experience in a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or similar new business role.
  • Strong track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Confident cold calling and appointment-setting experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to work independently.
  • Experience selling print, mailing, direct mail, or hybrid mail solutions would be highly advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
