Machine Operative

£12.71p/hr, Day Shift, Mon to Fri, 37.5hrs per week, ASAP starts, Temp role

I am looking for x2 Machine Operators to work for a busy Manufacturing company based in Bradford, on the Day shift.

The role will involve working in the Machine Shop, assisting in running Machines, Loading and Unloading and Wrapping/Strapping. This is a physical role with a lot of lifting and shifting. Day to day duties within the role will include:

  • Loading Machines for use
  • Machine and Saw Operation
  • Basic Programming
  • Stacking, Wrapping and Strapping pallets of stock
  • Moving stock around the Warehouse

Key skills needed for this role include:

  • Must have previous Machine Op experience
  • Experience working with various handheld power tools.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to work to targets to ensure delivery schedules are met.
  • Good work ethic with knowledge of manual handling skills
  • Able to work in a team but equally able to work individually and keep motivated

You will be required to work 37.5hrs per week, 7am to 3pm from Mon to Fri with a Pay Rate of £12.71p/hr. The role is advertised initially as Temporary with immediate starts available.
