Gatehouse Operative - Biggleswade
Pay: £14.65 per hour Hours:
- Training Week: 8 hours per day (Mon-Fri)
- Ongoing: 4 on / 4 off, 6am-6pm
About the Role
We're recruiting a dependable and detail-focused Gatehouse Operative to support a busy site in Biggleswade. This role suits someone confident with people, calm under pressure, and comfortable working independently across 12-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Access control for all vehicles, staff, and visitors
- Vehicle checkin/out and accurate completion of paperwork
- Monitoring site security and reporting issues promptly
- Issuing passes and maintaining visitor logs
- Liaising with warehouse, transport, and security teams
- Ensuring compliance with all site procedures and safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Experience in gatehouse, security, transport admin, or logistics is beneficial
- Strong communication and customerservice approach
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts on a rotating pattern
- High attention to detail and accuracyReliable, punctual, and able to work independently
