We are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team in Accrington on atemp-to-perm basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and professional HGV driver looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent role.
The Role
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
- Completing local and regional deliveries.
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company procedures.
- Working safely and in line with all relevant transport legislation.
The Candidate
We are looking for drivers who have:
- A valid Category C1 (7.5 tonne) driving licence.
- A valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
- Previous experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
- A good knowledge of UK roads.
- A professional and reliable approach to work.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A strong commitment to health and safety.
