We are currently recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at our Ellington Depot, located just outside of Huntingdon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician looking for a stable, well-paid role with a great work-life balance.
Salary & Benefits
- Up to £50,000 per year (equivalent to £24 per hour based on a 40-hour week)
- Overtime opportunities available
- Consistent weekday schedule with limited weekend work
Working Hours
- Typically, 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Alternative Saturdays or as required
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
- Diagnosing faults and ensuring timely, effective solutions
- Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
- Maintaining accurate records of work carried out
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid HGV licence (desirable but not essential)
Location: Based at our Ellington Depot, conveniently located just outside Huntingdon.
