Interaction Recruitment are supporting our client in Wellingborough with their hiring of a Production Manager.
Their customer base includes food manufacturers, breweries and soft drink producers.
This is a hands-on position combining engineering expertise with leadership responsibilities.
You will be responsible for supporting production operations, interpreting technical specifications, creating CAD/CAM drawings, and managing a small team to ensure productivity, quality, and customer requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and amend CAD/CAM drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and customer specifications.
- Support production processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Lead, motivate, and develop production staff.
- Manage employee performance and resolve workplace conflicts professionally and effectively.
- Ensure products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
- Work closely with customers and internal departments to deliver projects on time.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong CAD/CAM drawing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings confidently.
- Experience supervising or managing teams.
- Proven conflict resolution and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Knowledge of the brewery, food production, or related process industries would be advantageous.
