This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, technical variety, and the opportunity to work with a broad supplier base across multiple manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving supplier performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement in a high-precision engineering environment. The Package: Life Assurance Scheme X2 Health Cash Plan & Private Medical Insurance Company Pension Scheme | Employee 3% – Employer 6% 22 days annual leave + public holidays (30 days overall) Dental Insurance Holiday Buy Back Scheme Training development and progression routes into leadership The Duties: Evaluate, approve, and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality requirements Lead PPAP activities and ensure robust change control Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier non-conformances Conduct supplier audits (UK and international) with the procurement team Collaborate with internal engineering teams to support new product introductions and changes Monitor supplier quality metrics and lead improvement initiatives Provide technical guidance on quality tools, process control, and metrology methods The Requirements: HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems Technical knowledge of moulding, casting, stamping, and other mechanical manufacturing processes Proven experience in a supplier quality role within a manufacturing environment Skilled in PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, and other core quality tools Familiarity with metrology equipment and techniques (e.g. CMM, GD&T, gauges) Experience resolving quality issues at customer or supplier sites (national and international) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Resilient and assertive, with the ability to influence and drive supplier improvements Willingness to travel as required Interaction Recruitment: We have specialist consultants across various industries within the UK, including but not limited to Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial, and Hospitality.
