Excellent Overtime Opportunities
Overtime is consistently available throughout the year, with many engineers regularly completing between 5 and 10 overtime hours per week.

- 1.5x Monday-Saturday

Based on 5 hours overtime per week:
- £28,000 basic salary = Approx. £33,250 annual earnings
- £34,000 basic salary = Approx. £40,375 annual earnings
Based on 10 hours overtime per week:
- £28,000 basic salary = Approx. £38,500 annual earnings
- £34,000 basic salary = Approx. £46,750 annual earnings
Additional call-out retainers and paid travel time can further increase earnings.
The Role
As an Agricultural Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of agricultural machinery, ensuring customers receive the highest level of support and equipment uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair agricultural machinery including tractors, combines, balers, telehandlers and associated equipment
- Attend customer sites to diagnose and resolve breakdowns
- Carry out mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Provide technical support and advice to customers
- Work independently in the field while liaising with the service team to ensure the best outcome for customers
Requirements
- Previous experience working on agricultural machinery, plant equipment, construction machinery, forklifts, commercial vehicles, HGVs, or similar heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience working on engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Engineering qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship or equivalent are advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence
