The Opportunity
A leading specialist in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration services is looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join their growing engineering team. With over 40 years of industry success, the business provides installation, maintenance, servicing and breakdown support to a wide range of commercial clients across the UK. Due to continued growth and the award of several new contracts, they are now seeking an additional field-based engineer to cover Northamptonshire and the surrounding region. The Role
As a Mobile Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a variety of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across customer sites. Your duties will include:
- Reactive breakdown response and fault diagnosis
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Working on VRV, VRF, Split Systems, Multi-Splits, Chillers and Cold Rooms
- Leak detection, repairs and system testing
- Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
- Delivering excellent customer service on-site
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements
About You

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working on Air Conditioning and/or Refrigeration systems
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent customer-facing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Previous experience in a field service role
- IPAF, PASMA or CSCS accreditation
- Experience with manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Panasonic or Fujitsu
