WE ARE RECRUITING FOR A CATERING ASSISTANT IN NORTHAMPTON NN4!
Hours: Sunday to Thursday ongoing from 22:30 to 03:00 (5 nights per week)
Pay: 5.5 hours pay for 4.5 hours work as follows:
- 2.5 hours @ £13.00 per hour PAYE + holiday %
- 3 hours @ £17.00 per hour PAYE + holiday %
Payroll: Timesheets put in on Monday by 11:00am, payslip will be received via email by COP Thursday, pay will be in your bank Friday morning.
Duties:
- Making up around 26 sandwiches and 12 baguettes and putting them in the vending machine.
- Service runs between 01:00 and 02:00 – you will be required to serve customers from a till point.
- Working with the Chef to clear down after service (around 02:00-03:00).
- Washing up and using the pot wash.
- Sweeping and mopping floors.
- Clearing and wiping down surfaces.
- Emptying bins and relining them.
Person:
- Must be able to work Sunday to Thursday nights inclusive for a minimum of 5 weeks, starting as soon as tonight.
- Will be required to complete a telephone or face to face interview with Anna, Lucie or Cheryl at Interaction Recruitment Northampton.
- Shall complete an online application following on from a successful interview with the Catering Team.
- Understands how to build appetising sandwiches and baguettes, preferably someone from a catering background and/or sandwich shop.
- Can evidence UK RTW + Proof of Address + Proof of NI (National Insurance number) + Food Hygiene L2 certificate.
- Could be a General Assistant, Kitchen Porter, Catering Assistant, Commis Chef or Chef De Partie who is looking for part time hours.
- Will need to adapt to intermittent cleaning around sandwich making between 22:30 and 01:00 when service starts.
- Must have a keen eye to detail to include cleaning and ensure sandwiches are made to look and taste great.
- Ideally a driver with a reliable vehicle as there is no bus route at 03:00.
- Would suit someone who can only work 20 hours per week or as a second job.
