Interaction Technical are working in partnership with a leading material handling and forklift specialist to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer covering Woking and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a Forklift Engineer, Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer, Vehicle Technician or Mobile Service Engineer looking to join a business that genuinely values its engineers. The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will work from home attending customer sites throughout your designated territory, carrying out planned maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs on a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks
- Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults
- Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive repairs
- Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Repairing (Diesel, Petrol, LPG, Electric) engines, drive systems, hydraulics and electrical components
- Recording all work completed via engineer reports
- Managing your workload efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
