About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join our team on a busy fruit farm, working specifically within the Hotmix (hot mixer) department. This role is essential to our production process, ensuring fruit mixtures are correctly heated, processed, and prepared to high standards.
You will be responsible for operating and monitoring the hot mixer (large industrial oven), ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at all times. You will be working alongside two other team members who will load the mixer. After training, you will also be expected to support with loading tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring the Hotmix machinery throughout production runs
- Working closely with your team to ensure smooth and safe operation
- Assisting with loading the hot mixer once training is complete
- Recording production data and following quality procedures
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
- Reporting any issues or faults to supervisors
Requirements
- Ability to work in a production environment
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence – must be able to drive due to rural site location
- Willingness to rotate between early and late shifts after training
Shift Pattern
Training: Monday–Friday, 06:00–14:00
Post-training: Weekly rotation between 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00
