The Role

We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Tramper Drivers on behalf of our client based in Crayford, Kent. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, offering long-term stability and consistent work. This position involves tramping work, following a 5/6/5/6 shift pattern, with up to 5 nights out followed by 6 nights off.

Duties Include:

  • Driving Class 1 vehicles with fridge box trailers
  • Transporting frozen, chilled, and ambient goods
  • Completing deliveries nationwide
  • Adhering to all driving laws and regulations
  • Maintaining accurate records and paperwork
  • Ensuring vehicle safety checks are completed daily

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Minimum 2 years' experience (essential for insurance purposes)
  • Proven experience with box trailers
  • Previous tramping experience (nights away essential)
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Reliable, professional, and flexible attitude
