We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Machine Operative/Picker to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting cardboard materials and soft gaskets using a hydraulic press, as well as carrying out general picking and packing duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a hydraulic press to cut cardboard material and soft gasket products
- Ensuring accuracy and precision in all cutting tasks
- Picking, packing, labelling, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Managing stock and maintaining a tidy working area
- Handling lifting tasks (not heavy lifting) as part of daily operations
- Following safety procedures and maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Good numeracy skills
- Previous experience in machine operation, warehouse, or manufacturing environments (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
