We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Machine Operative/Picker to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting cardboard materials and soft gaskets using a hydraulic press, as well as carrying out general picking and packing duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a hydraulic press to cut cardboard material and soft gasket products
  • Ensuring accuracy and precision in all cutting tasks
  • Picking, packing, labelling, and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Managing stock and maintaining a tidy working area
  • Handling lifting tasks (not heavy lifting) as part of daily operations
  • Following safety procedures and maintaining quality standards

Requirements

  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Previous experience in machine operation, warehouse, or manufacturing environments (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
