We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work based in the Aylesford area (ME20). This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with shifts currently scheduled through to September, with the potential for continued work into the peak Christmas period and beyond.
Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 05:00am – 1:00pm
Full-day paid induction required prior to starting.
The Role:
- Multi-drop deliveries to schools, hospitals, hotels, restaurants and other commercial customers
- Typically 12–17 deliveries per day
- Delivering frozen, chilled and ambient food products
- Manual loading and unloading involved
- Drivers will be required to locate and unload products from the vehicle at each delivery point
- No pallet truck or tail lift work involved
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Reliable and professional attitude
