HGV Class 1 Night Trunking Drivers in Kent, Maidstone

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team on night trunking shifts based from our Maidstone and Sittingbourne depots .

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, professional drivers looking for ongoing night work with competitive rates of pay.

The Role

Your duties will include:

• Completing scheduled night trunk runs to Birmingham and returning to your home depot.
• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and in full compliance with road transport legislation.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Ensuring loads are secure, including the correct use of curtainside trailers and load strapping.
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintaining a professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach at all times.

What We're Looking For

To be considered, you'll need:

• A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• A minimum of 6 months' Class 1 driving experience .
• Previous experience with curtainside trailers and load strapping .
• To be 21 years of age or over (due to insurance requirements).
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
• A strong work ethic with excellent reliability and punctuality.
• The ability to work night shifts and long-distance trunking routes.
