Class 1 Day Driver – Curtain Sider (Immediate Start)
Location: Nottingham
Pay Rate: £16.45 per hour OT £21.50ph / Weekends £24ph
Hours: Monday – Friday, 06:00 – 18:00
Job Type: Temp to Perm (minimum 6 months)
The Role
We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Day Drivers to work from our Nottingham depot, delivering goods using a curtain sider trailer. This role involves RDC and depot deliveries, including:
- Drop and swap operations
- Deliveries to loading bays
- Occasional unloading via forklift (no handball in most cases)
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Reliable, professional attitude
