Shot Blaster to join a busy structural steel warehouse based on Medway City Estate, Rochester.
Key Responsibilities
- Shot blasting structural steel to remove rust, scale, and surface contaminants.
- Operating shot blasting equipment and a fire hose to clean steel components.
- Preparing metal structures to a high-quality finish.
- Working safely within a busy warehouse environment.
- Maintaining excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
- Carrying out manual handling duties as required.
- Taking accurate measurements and using good numeracy skills.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' shot blasting experience.
- Previous experience working with structural steel or metal.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong numeracy skills for measurements.
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual work.
- Reliable with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Choose the shift that best suits you.)
