Pay Rate: £18.05 per hour
We're currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Dustcart Drivers to join a well-established waste management operation in Tunbridge Wells. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for consistent Monday to Friday work with guaranteed minimum hours.
Shift Details
- Monday to Friday
- 06:30 – 15:00
- Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
The Role
- Driving an HGV Class 2 dustcart on planned collection routes
- Working alongside a team of loaders to complete domestic and commercial waste collections
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy
- Completing all work safely while following company and site procedures
- Providing a professional service throughout your route
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Minimum 6 months' HGV driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Dustcart or refuse collection experience is preferred but not essential as training can be provided
- A positive attitude with good communication skills and a strong work ethic
