The Role
We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Tramper Drivers on behalf of our client based in Crayford, Kent. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, offering long-term stability and consistent work. This position involves tramping work, following a 5/6/5/6 shift pattern, with up to 5 nights out followed by 6 nights off.
Duties Include:
- Driving Class 1 vehicles with fridge box trailers
- Transporting frozen, chilled, and ambient goods
- Completing deliveries nationwide
- Adhering to all driving laws and regulations
- Maintaining accurate records and paperwork
- Ensuring vehicle safety checks are completed daily
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Minimum 2 years' experience (essential for insurance purposes)
- Proven experience with box trailers
- Previous tramping experience (nights away essential)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Reliable, professional, and flexible attitude
