We are currently recruiting for a Food Production Operative to join a busy and growing food production team. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with pay increases available after a successful 12-week probation period.
Duties Include:
- Preparing, slicing, and packing meat products, including pork
- Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards
- Working within a chilled production environment
- Some heavy lifting and manual handling duties
- Following all health & safety procedures
- PPE must be worn at all times. This is supplied including safety boots
Requirements:
- Comfortable handling meat products, including pork
- Able to work in a cold/chiller environment
- Physically fit due to heavy lifting requirements
- Reliable with a good work ethic
- Previous food production experience is beneficial but not essential
